dead whispers rebellion - Matt Wunsch

the sun sunk / over tall grass  /  

the day  bent /  a bed is unity / if you lie

 inside / a finger trap / the sound air 

particles make / when they clash together / 

again  / again /  again / i want to write 

rebellion and cannot / 

extremists bookend capitalism // 
hug my family:

trigger / American mass shooting

kiss my family / get blood on my chin 
 
place my jawbone inside/  an optimistic

 article that ends / suicides have long

 accounted for a majority of gun related  

deaths in the U.S. I write / a poem 

about a clam and another / about 

how small god is / stuck in big God’s teeth.
